In the early hours of Tuesday morning, our department was alerted for a fire at a Township residence.

The first responding units reported heavy fire conditions at the rear of the house. The Police Department confirmed that everyone had evacuated.

Chippewa (Station 22) was assisted by Beaver Falls (11), Big Beaver (14), Darlington (18), Patterson Heights (33), South Beaver (61), Patterson Twp. (90), and West Mayfield (99).

Although the home and one vehicle were a total loss, through extensive salvage and overhaul efforts, many important items and sentimental keepsakes were recovered.
