Vehicle Fire
June 04
Shortly after 12 Noon today, station 22 along with engine 90 and Engine 33 were dispatched for a vehicle fire on Rt. 51 north bound.
Engine 22 arrived quickly to find the driver had done a quick knock down with a fire extinguisher. All other units were returned to service as the crew from Engine 22 aggressively put out the remaining fire which was contained to the underside of the engine compartment.

Class of 2022
June 03
Chippewa Fire, along with all of the other Fire Departments and police agencies that serve the Blackhawk School District, had the distinct pleasure to participate in the BHS Class of 2022 Senior Night Parade on Thursday night.
After the parade, our graduates were treated to an evening of music, outdoor activities and food trucks.
The evening was capped off by a fireworks display.

Memorial Day

For many, today is the official start of summer. An extra day off of work. A day to open the pool or get that extra yard work done. Some are having picnics or other family gatherings.
But, let us not for get what today is really about.

Tuesday Night Drills
May 25
Our Tuesday night training consisted of water supply procedures.
We took our trucks out to several different neighborhoods to add a sense of realism.
Our firefighters practiced their skills on hooking up to a hydrant and flowing water to the Engine as well as connecting supply lines from the Engine to our Ladder truck.
We discussed different procedures for many different scenarios.
