Fire Alarm
April 10
Today we were alerted to fire alarm at the Elmcroft Nursing home.
There was no smoke or fire detected but, upon further investigation a faulty water line in the fire suppression system was discovered.

This afternoon a very gracious, yet anonymous, resident stopped by our station and dropped off lunch consisting of several sandwiches, quesadillas, wings and fries among other things from Applebees.
As volunteers, we can’t thank you enough for acts of kindness such as yours.
It is our understanding that Applebees helped by discounting the bill.

A Busy Tuesday
April 03
Tuesday March 30th proved to be another busy day for station 22. So busy, in fact, that we had to postpone our regular training that night!
We had one motor vehicle accident, three medical calls and three brush fire responses!
It all started around 9:30am with a motor vehicle accident with one vehicle running into a gas meter causing a leak. Engine 22 crews secured the leak and notified the gas ... (Full Story & Photos)

Let it burn!
March 27
Once again, member were invited back to train with live fire in Beaver Falls.
Today was a full workout and in the end firefighters were able to sit back watch the structure that they had been training in, burn to the ground.
These acquired structures were on the Geneva College campus and are slated for demolition so that the area can be cleared for future use.... (Full Story & Photos)

A busy day ....
March 27
Yesterday we were alerted for nine different calls, including some medical calls, some wind related service calls, a structure fire and two different accidents.
The last one came in around 10pm on Darlington Rd. near Clayton Rd. in front of the Excelerator Bar. Police reported that one vehicle may have run a stop sign resulting in a T-bone type crash.
