We are proud to announce that three of our members have recently reached training milestones in their fire department careers.

Firefighter Callista Dodge has successfully completed her medical training and is now a certified Emergency Medical Responder.
After completing some in-house training on our own procedures, Callie will soon be able to answer QRS calls, adding depth to our medical response.

Structure Fire Response

May 13

Last night shortly after 6PM the Chippewa Fire Departmen, along with our first alarm assigned mutual aid companies, made a quick response when alerted for working residential structure fire with reported entrapment.

First arriving units encountered heavy fire coming from both the front and back of the home.

Structure Fire Response

May 11

Around 5:30 this morning, Chippewa firefighters were requested to assist with a residential structure fire in the 300 block of Wallace Run Road in Big Beaver.

The working fire in the unoccupied dwelling was reported by a passenger on a BCTA bus as it passed through the area.

Crews from Big Beaver, Beaver Falls, Chippewa, Darlington and North Sewickley were on scene for several hours.

No Caption Winter Blast takes it's Toll

March 12

The snow storm that came in overnight Friday into Saturday presented some hazardous traveling conditions.

Saturday morning the Chippewa Fire Department was alerted for a MVA ( motor vehicle accident ) on I-376 Eastbound near the 32 mile marker.

Arriving units came upon not one but, two accidents about 200 feet apart.

Both vehicles lost control and spun out, hitting the guiderail.
