Around 5:30 this morning, Chippewa firefighters were requested to assist with a residential structure fire in the 300 block of Wallace Run Road in Big Beaver.

The working fire in the unoccupied dwelling was reported by a passenger on a BCTA bus as it passed through the area.

Crews from Big Beaver, Beaver Falls, Chippewa, Darlington and North Sewickley were on scene for several hours.

There were no reported injuries and the cause is under investigation.
