The Chippewa Township Fire Department had its busiest year ever since being organized in 1927. All of this is only possible with the dedicated staff of volunteers, their families and the support of our community. We would also like to thank our mutual aid departments for their assistance throughout the year.
773 Calls for service including Fire/Ems/Rescue and Technical Rescue.
Our members logged over 1674 hours of training.
We had several members add to their list of Pro-Board Certifications including Firefighter 1, Firefighter 2, Confined Space and Fire Officer 1.
We were recognized by the Pa State Fire Commissioner as a participating department of the Pennsylvania Fire Service Certification Program by certifying 75% of our members to the National Professional Qualifications Standards.
We look forward to serving our community as well as surrounding communities in 2019 |
