... and the Chippewa Fire Department was proud to be one of MANY emergency service agencies that helped her celebrate!

One of Lilly’s relatives put her story on Facebook. Having endured multiple surgeries and chemotherapy in a short period of time, she finally got the news we all wanted to here. Her scans were clear and today was her last day of chemotherapy!!!

The word was put out that there would be a parade for Lilly and what a parade it was!

Over 15 fire trucks, about 10 police cars and countless family, friends and supporters lined up at the Blackhawk High School and proceeded past Lilly’s home just a few blocks away!

Lilly.... police, fire departments and other emergency services always count on the people in their communities for support but, I think we can speak for everyone that drove past your house today that today was YOUR day and we are all proud to support you!
