On Tuesday, January 12th, and approximately 11:40pm we were alerted to the area of Rt. 51 and Woodland Road for a motor vehicle crash.

Initial reports stated that there was one vehicle off the roadway into the woods with occupants still inside.

Rescue and Engine 90 as well as Engine 33 were dispatched along with Station 22.

Upon Rescue 22’s arrival, it was verified that there was a vehicle in the woods on its side with multiple occupants.

Patterson area companies had arrived first and initialized stabilization and was preparing to start extrication.

The windshield was removed from the vehicle and both occupants were able to walk out of the wreckage with minimal assistance.

The occupants were accessed by Medical personnel from Medic Rescue.

The Chippewa Twp Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
