| Yesterday, the Beaver Falls Fire Department invited several mutual aid departments to train with them in some acquired structures that are set for demolition.
Firefighters got back to basics in four different skill stations. Advancing a charged hose line, placement and deployment of ground ladders, large area search techniques, and search and rescue in a smoke filled environment.
Participating departments along with Beaver Falls, Station 11 were, Big Beaver station 14, Chippewa, station 22, Rochester station 23, Patterson Heights station 33, New Brighton station 84 and Patterson Twp. station 90.
Acquired structures are not often available and offer the most realistic training a firefighter can get.
We greatly appreciate the opportunity to train with our brothers and sisters from other departments.
