Dear friends,

Summer is now in full swing and soon we will be celebrating Independence Day! Folks everywhere are enjoying the outdoors. Kids are riding bikes, swimming in pools and running through sprinklers. People are out walking their dogs and enjoying so many other activities!

Please help us keep our community safe by:

- Paying a little extra attention to your surroundings this time of year.

- If you consume alcohol, do so in moderation and never drink and drive.

- Being respectful of the more powerful fireworks that are now legal in Pennsylvania. Protect yourself, children and pets when you or someone near you are setting them off.

- Keeping yourself hydrated when exerting yourself outdoors as the warmer weather approaches.

Lastly, we wish to thank you for all the support that you give us. We proudly volunteer to provide the best emergency service response possible, a job that becomes increasingly more difficult in warmer months. We are very grateful for all your donations, especially for those who have donated bottled water! We encourage people in all communities to donate bottled water to their local fire companies.
