| Thursday, night, just after 9pm Station 22 was alerted for a motor vehicle accident near the intersection of Shenango Road and Oakville.
Upon arrival, responders found a pickup truck on its side with the single occupant still in the vehicle.
Shenango Road was closed between Oakville and Brooks Drive for a little over an hour as crews stabilized the truck and removed the roof to extricate the driver.
Once extricated, the patient was evaluated by EMS personnel and released after refusing any further treatment.
Assisting on scene were units from Patterson and Patterson Heights fire companies as well as Medic Rescue ambulance service, Sullis Towing and the Chippewa Police Department. |
