Back on September 19th, Lt. Chad Smith’s son, Tyler turned three years old.

Due to an illness in the family, complicated by the pandemic, Tyler wasn’t able to have a large family gathering to celebrate.

At 4pm Tyler’s family and friends, escorted by Chippewa and Patterson Township Police Departments and the Chippewa, Patterson Township and Patterson Heights Fire Departments paraded past his house with horns honking, lights flashing and sirens blaring.

A very heartfelt “Thank You” to all who participated and helped make Tyler’s day special.
