Late Saturday morning we were alerted to a possible structure fire on Pine Street.

We soon realized that this was the home of the daughter of one of own firefighters.

Engine 22 responded and crews noted light smoke coming from the eves.

Upon investigation, an electrical fire in an outlet behind a dresser in a bedroom was discovered. The power was quickly shut off at the breaker box and the fire was extinguished.
Smoke had filled the home so ventilation fans were used to clear the air.

Assisting departments included South Beaver (61), Patterson (90), Patterson Heights (33), Darlington (18), and Beaver Falls (11).
