Just before 8am this morning we were alerted of a motor vehicle accident in which a vehicle was over the hillside in the 200 block of Winterburn Rd.

First arriving units found a vehicle approximately 150 feet over the hillside. The car had rolled several times. A rope system was deployed and rescuers descended the hill to find the driver conscious and alert with only minor injuries.

The patient was placed in a stokes basket and brought back up to the top where they were evaluated by medical personnel.

Responding departments along with Chippewa were Patterson, Patterson Heights and Brighton Township.
